Last October, I had the absolute joy of attending a breathtaking wedding photography workshop in Ontario hosted by Park Hill Studio. It was held at the stunning Cruickston Park in Cambridge, ON, and let me tell you—it was straight out of a dream! Cruickston Park is a luxury wedding venue that blends high-end accommodation with immersive farm experiences while serving as a picturesque event space—the kind of place that makes you want to take photos of absolutely everything!
Why Attend a Wedding Photography Workshop?
Photography workshops are an incredible way to grow, connect with fellow creatives, and capture stunning images. I had the chance to learn from talented photographers and collaborate with amazing florists, whose floral arrangements added magic to the styled shoots. This retreat was all about learning, creating, and drawing inspiration.
Cruickston Park – A Luxury Wedding Venue in Cambridge, ON
We spent the day at the Stone Cottage, a gorgeous 4,000-square-foot home from the 1800s, packed with history and charm. Now a luxurious retreat, Cruickston Park offers high-end accommodations, immersive farm experiences, and a dreamy setting for weddings and events.
The Photography Workshop Experience
The workshop was led by the incredibly talented Lovely Sparrow Photo and Tiffany Lynn Photos, who shared so many helpful insights about lighting, posing, and storytelling. The gowns for the session were from The Modern Bride, an intimate bridal boutique in Guelph, and they were nothing short of breathtaking. We worked with two gorgeous model couples, each styled beautifully to fit the elegant, romantic aesthetic of the venue. Florals were led by Wildwood Floral + Event Design, adding the perfect touch of natural beauty and romance to the set.

An Evening to Remember
After a full day of capturing stunning imagery, we ended the retreat with a cozy dinner, reflecting on lessons learned and connecting with fellow creatives.
